See you the Saturday after Thanksgiving!
The Down East Ski Club Ski Sale and Winter Expo is run by club members. Volunteer hours at this event is a requirement of membership.
The sale is held at the Portland Expo, Park Ave in Portland ME . The sale is Always the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The Doors open at 8:00am and the sale goes till 3:00pm. Admission is FREE! For many, standing in line waiting for the sale to open is a tradition, but with thousands of items, great deals can be found all day long!
- You will find Winter items: Ski and Snowboard jackets, bindings and helmets. X-Country and downhill skis, poles and boots. Gear bags, snow shoes, ice skates, gloves, googles, and much more at great prices.
The general public may bring their Winter items to enter into the sale: Ski and Snowboard jackets, bindings and helmets. snowboards, X-Country and downhill skis, poles and boots. Gear bags, snow shoes, ice skates, gloves, googles … to enter into the sale Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, from 1:00pm to 5:30pm. There is a $1.00 registration fee per item, and 20% commission is charged if the item is sold.
All unsold equipment MUST be picked up Saturday 4:00 pm – 5:30pm. Items not picked up by 5:30pm Saturday become property of Down East Ski Club. We will not accept items that are outdated or in poor condition. Please check with a local retailer or check at the time of registration to be sure your bindings are not outdated.
