Downeast Ski Club Awards
Each year the club presents award to deserving individuals in the several categories at our annual banquet. Traditionally some awards have been given out year after year. There are no set rules about what awards should or should not be presented on any given year. As part of the awards ceremony, each year we take time to recognize those who have contributed to the club and also have some fun by recognizing some of the more humorous events of the past year. We need your input!
The traditional awards given out year-to-year are the Downeaster, Old Smoothie, Rookie of the Year and Most Improved skier/snowboarder. We are always looking for ideas for other awards as well; if you have a suggestion for an award this year, please let us know!
